Walked 4 miles round trip to BART
Tuesday
Ran 6 miles with Jasper. I finally have him in the 9 minute mile range! Puppy conditioning is paying off.
Wednesday
Rest day
Went riding instead! Also trimmed the sheep's hooves at work, which is always physically taxing. Our sheep weigh 250 pounds and are terrified of people. Once we're able to chase them down, we have to flip them (sit them up on their bums) in order to trim their hooves. The whole ordeal is exhausting for me and stressful for the poor sheep.
Thursday
5 pm SculptWorks class at YogaWorks. I wasn't properly caffeinated, so this class felt really hard.
Friday
7 mile run with Jasper. I swallowed a bug on mile 5. Mid-run protein.
Saturday
Afternoon cardiofest at 24 with a girlfriend. 15 minutes incline walking on the treadmill, 30 minutes elliptical interval workout, 20 minutes stairmaster, and abs to finish.
Sunday
5 mile run with Jasper in the early morning.
2 hours heavy lifting and pen cleaning with my volunteers.
This was a workout-heavy week, but staying active is a huge stress reliever for me and this week I needed it. My workload at school has been hectic and my car is broken down and needs an entirely new engine. It's amazing how much my perspective changes after I hit the gym or go for a run.
