I'm back! Here are my workouts from last week:
Monday
1 hour hike with Jasper, a friend and her pup. It's been raining more than usual here in Northern California, and I'm glad we got out on a dry day.
Tuesday
4 pm Nike Training Club class at 24 Hour Fitness. This class was easier than usual and I was more tired than usual so it was perfect for me. It was an equipment-free workout with a lot of core work. We did intervals with 5 minutes of cardio drills followed by 5 minutes of ab exercises. We finished with 10 glorious minutes of stretching in yoga poses.
Wednesday
8:30 am Body Combat class at 24
Thursday
4 pm Body Combat class at 24. I love when I go to the gym on a whim and one of my favorite classes is starting. My shoulders were killing me from the class the day before, but it was a great workout as always.
Friday
Rest day-- flew to Portland
Saturday
9 am Boot Camp class at 24 in Vancouver, Washington with my aunt and cousin.
That was the hardest class I have ever taken. They closed off the basketball courts for the hour and we used the whole floor for warm-up drills and a tough circuit workout.
Warm-up. Repeat 3x: sprints (down the floor & back), broad jumps (d&b), lunges (d&b), 20 burpees, 20 pushups
Circuit workout. Repeat 3x, each station for 2 minutes
Russian twists
Leg lower into pop up
Medicine ball slam balls with squat
Jumping in and out of a line of 6 tires
Burpees with lateral plank walks
Wheelbarrow with gliders - we used a piece of carpet instead of gliders

Rest day-- cousin's wedding!
