Here are my workouts from last week:
Monday
Run 4 miles
Tuesday
7 pm CrossFit on-ramp class
That's right. I drank the Kool-Aid and started CrossFit. And I'm HOOKED.
I did a two class on-ramp series last week that was awesome and great for learning all the moves and terminology.
After warming up, we worked on progression and form:
Body weight: burpees, pushups, ring rows, sit ups, squats and pull ups
Barbell: snatches and overhead squats
Then we did this WOD:
6 minute AMRAP: 12 push ups, 12 pull ups (I did ring rows)
Wednesday
Rest day
Thursday
7 pm CrossFit on-ramp class
The moves we learned this class:
Medicine ball: wall balls, dead lifts and cleans
Barbell: cleans, shoulder presses and thrusters
The WOD was:
8 minute AMRAP: 15 cleans, 10 sit ups, 5 pushups
Friday
I cannot for the life of me remember what I did to exercise this day, but I know I did something. I think I ran? I don't know. I should have written this post sooner when I remembered what I did!
Saturday
8 am SculptWorks class at YogaWorks. I had zero motivation during this class but I made it out alive. I just wasn't into the workout and kept staring at the clock the whole time.
One hour indoor rock climbing with my mom in the afternoon. I love that my mom is my new climbing buddy! We are both really busy, so it's great that we have a new hobby to share and can spend time together.

That's right. It's official. I'm doing Tough Mudder.
I'm excited but know there is a lot of training to be done!
Here is my training plan:
2x per week: CrossFit
1x per week: 4-6 mile run
1x per week: Long run - starting out this will be 4-6 miles then starting in March it will be a trail run and I will increase mileage by one mile per week
1x per week: Training with my teammates - we plan to do flat runs, trail runs, circuits and strength exercises
I will do training updates leading up to the event. Wish me luck!
